One of my favorite quotes from "Marriage: God's Showcase of Covenant-Keeping Grace"

"The Wrath of God is Coming on this world and on people. To which I can imagine someone saying "the last thing I want to hear about in my troubled marriage is wrath" ..... which is like a frustrated fisherman on the western coast of Indonesia on December 26 early in the morning 2004 saying "the last thing I want to hear about is a tsunami." You better want to hear about this, you think you don't want or need to hear about this. Here's the main reason why you need to hear about the wrath of God for your marriage. if you don't hear about the wrath of God, believe it, feel it, fear it, you will drag the gospel down to small humdrum relational improvement stuff it was never meant to be. The Gospel is Magnificent! It is global it is universal... it has to do with big things! Like, it stops Tsunami's dead in their tracks! You never ever dreamed of a Tsunami like the wrath of God. Infinite omnipotent anger you don't want to tangle with on judgment day. And God doesn't want you to tangle with it either. which is why he put forward his Son...that we might be justified"

New Blogger

I must admit. This is my first blog ever. I am really looking forward to sharing with you all, the things I am learning and the amazing ways that God is revealing himself to me and my family.
My hope is that this will help facilitate me being able to keep in touch with my friends and family not only through discussion but also through you being able to chew on some of the same things that I am chewing on.
Of course I'll post funny things and happy things, not just the deep pondering of the meaning of life.
I intend to post fairly often so check it out when you can.
